When do I register for classes?

student @ local community college , wondering when should register spring of 2013 classes. says classes don't begin until january 30th, people registering. college's website states, "students registering @ time have pay tuition , fees @ time of registration". previous semester (fall 2012), paid government issued pell grant, received after filing fafsa. guess question really, have wait until after receive financial aid register?
