Will my pc run gta IV well?

hello buddy. know, gta iv 4 year old game, logical assume it'll run on pc, since graphics card pretty good. problem is, gta iv pretty horrible console port, performs poorly on powerful systems. myself have powerful system (amd 3.6 ghz quad core, radeon hd 6950 2gb card , 8 gb ram), yet can run gta iv smoothly on medium settings. friend, has less powerful pc me, able run well. can't sure kind of performance you'll get, unless try out yourself. there several user-made mods gta iv make perform well, , prettier too. myself haven't tried these mods, google search give enough results. remember don't need upgrade system, because quite capable of running latest games @ medium high settings. particular game gta iv poorly optimized pc. hope helped detailed answer. please choose answer best. queries can email me on sunil_u123@hotmail.com.
