Is this normal? Why can I see better close-up withOUT my glasses or contacts than I can with them?

when reading, example, can see more clear without glasses or contacts can see glasses or contacts!

i'm 33, severally nearsighted, , have been since birth. born strabismus had 6 corrective surgeries for. means don't have binocular vision, can't see 3d imagines, , have no concept of depth (if means @ all).

has been going on @ least 2 decades, has absolutely nothing of different contacts/glasses prescriptions throughout years.

thoughts?
