What is it like in Buffalo, NY?

hi taneee - guess change nyc big change. said, buffalo has seen hard times , parts of city severely distressed. other parts preserved , nice places live. preservation , restoration taking place, pace slower in other cities have more money in local economy. think place start getting feel things keeping eye on

cover neighborhoods, restaurants, culture , other topics. focus on within city limits, won't find out suburbs there.

went suny buffalo , there of course many people nyc, of became friends. many seemed time there, others complained not nyc - well, of course not. pharmacy school on "south" or main street campus, smaller amherst campus in burbs - may need go there shuttle bus classes. i'm not sure if school has plans move medical campus in downtown buffalo. perhaps investigate.

think buffalo area has lot of community spirit , city it's size, has remarkable selection of things do. lot depends on outlook , preferences - many people in area live in suburbs , never set foot in city, many places guess. if kind of person likes involved in community-based activities, there no shortage of options. , if things provincial you, toronto 90 minutes away larger-city break.

i live in city parents thinking of moving buffalo because houses more affordable. i'm thinking of going university of buffalo pharmacy. want know it's there , how community. lives there please tell me!
