3 year old ready for preschool?

daughter turning 3 in january , keeps telling me wants go school. shes used picking cousin school ( think that's why wants go) knows when go school mommy drops off , picks later , make to let know , still wants go. problem there waiting list preschool 200 kids on , cant afford pay 1 through day cares. hate pass opportunity because im afraid if wait when shes not around cousin anymore ( moving ) , gets out of routine of picking him shes not going want me leave when take her. thought putting kind of class maybe dance class or used going somewhere without me , out , socialize things ive found outrageously priced. suggestions or opinions helpful. thanks!
