When I was about 10 I took ballet, but recently I want to start again, but i'm 18 now? Am I too old?

took few years before 10, can't remember how many.. think maybe when 6 or 7.
loved , good.
i'm 18 now, , body isn't in right shape anymore, i'm still quite petite. perhaps not flexible used be. possible @ age without having embarrass myself joining class of 10 year olds? tried splits other day (as learned @ ballet) , couldn't stretch far :(
