Why is science wrong?

recently, i've been having little bit of problem accepting of new scientific ideas being taught in school. i'm trying open minded , @ best when comes learning environment - sometimes, of these ideas ridiculous.
take diffusion instance. yesterday, tried sleeping on textbook see if knowledge diffuse brain. didn't work. left confused , angry education system condones , forces teaching of such fake garbage. so, leave question change face of school today: why science wrong?
