Which job offer should I take? Long commute with greater opportunity or no commute with OK opportunity?

got 2 job offers take. major networking/it. first 1 major telecommunications company (you can guess) 60 miles commute round trip , second company large retail chain's corporate (you see in every mall, known well) no commuting. literally less 2 miles away corporate office. pay @ retail chain 10% less worse benefit in terms of holidays , stuff because of being retail. have decided take long commute 1 here take other? traffic pretty bad here , don't know shift gonna yet. both companies rated same on indeed , glassdoor employee reviews

have part time weekend job , in second year @ university. make £500 month. according pension funds, if pay 10% (£50) month, company double , money government means pay less £50. there different types of funds available, easiest being 'target fund' investment company moves money based on age. there index trackers , other equities/funds. can advise better long time investment.
