What are advantages of being shorter in track and field?

there many events height doesn't provide advantage.

can sprint , long jump @ height, being fast , explosive.

middle distance races don't favor of height - training , working hard @ practice.

on average, women not tall. if you're short, many of opponents short.

i track , field , think might quit cuz ill terrible @ cuz im short. advantages of being short in track , field?
