2 questions...traveling to Thailand?

on arriving @ phuket airport go? guess customs , immigration first i'm concerned when you're exiting i'm not sure if they're inside airport or on outside, apparently taxi drivers come right @ trying take hotel can pushy , can overwhelming, apparently target people don't know they're going..i have airport transfer booking anyway can please guide me on go when off plane don't lost , can avoid them little better?

secondly, how thai baht going need when arrive? i'm not taking @ until on there , withdrawl atm.
