Indigenous people and theater?

isn't cultures have sort of performing, it's not called 'theater' per se. can recall seeing performances dance, depicting story lines gods , forth. if mean spoken theater? have tried posting in different category? entertainment? or maybe in social sciences?

can tell me current group of indigenous people perform theater in culture? preferably, 1 of tribes found in paupa new guniea? if not, that's okay. past group of indigenous people work, i'd rather prefer current group.
