My 83 GMC C15 is misfiring. What do I do?

check , set ignition timing , make sure vacuum advance working, new plugs, wires, distributor cap , rotor , should take care of it. if not might have distributor needs rebuilt or replaced because bushings shaft rides in or shaft worn , allowing move around causing spark scatter. timing chain might have jumped tooth that's worst case scenario.

i know it's old truck, , issues bound there. truck suffering severe lack of power, , if put foot down misfires. can bring life? it's 305 v8.
