Is there a speed limit to which you can climb at before stalling or being unable to climb?

, found if airspeed high won't able climb there isn't enough excess thrust. true , if why because thought higher airspeed helps produce more lift , therefore a higher rate of climb. sorry if sound confusing. thank-you
