If I buy an iPhone 5 on 3 will I get 4g when it is released?

phone has support 4g *and* support 4g on right frequency.

4g network launched ee in uk works on 1,800mhz. iphone 5 model a1429 (gsm model) supports 4g on 1,800mhz , work ee's 4g network.

there going auction of 4g frequencies in uk in 2013. frequencies auctioned 800 mhz , 2.6 ghz. 3 need bid 1 or both of these frequencies 4g network use 1 of these frequencies.

quick review of iphone spec shows launched models not support either 800mhz or 2.6ghz frequencies. apple launch new iphone5 model support both these frequencies when 3 , other uk operators launch 4g networks towards middle of 2013.

however, buying iphone 5 *today* not buy phone compatible 3's 4g network.

looking upgrade contract three, if iphone 5 access 4g network when up?
