Help! My snake is shedding in patches!?

have southern ringneck snake. 1 year old , has never had problems shedding until now. noticed couple days ago starting shed. it's been week , old skin coming off in patches! it's middle , i'm afraid she's sick. normal? have plenty of hides her. small age (about 6-8 inches long) please help!!!
