Question about a Ford KA?

have ford ka '06 plate , i've been having problems electrics..when driving in dark lights on notice when car @ high revs (just before change gear) lights dim , brighten few times be? have had problems lights going out too.

know if there can stop car breaking down in rain nightmare can barely go through puddle @ 20mph big splashes causes car break down.
