Firefox won't open up?

means firefox process still running. first, check open windows , firefox. if cannot find there, need end firefox process.

in windows, open task manager (ctrl+shift+esc), go processes tab , "firefox.exe" , "plugin-container.exe". each 1 see, right-click on , click on "end process". once completed, close task manager , try open firefox again.

it keeps saying "firefox running, not responding. open new window, must first close existing firefox process, or restart system."
