Language development by 2 years old ?

hmm, guess never thought that. amazing me, development occurs during time period, never considered language specifically. guess fascinating me how receptive language develops first , faster expressive language kids. kids understand vast amount of language time 2, though speech still limited. when children small, spoke them speak else. no baby talk. no silly made words, regular speech. , time started kindergarten, got comments teachers , other adults on tremendous vocabularies had. don't think exceptional, think had vocabulary-rich environment during years , soaked in. when i'm teaching in classroom little 3-5's, same thing, , encourage them ask if hear word don't know. , ask, , there nothing cuter hearing 3 year old explain mother deciduous tree is, or means animal hibernate, or difference between nocturnal , diurnal is! time arrive in classroom, soooooo ready not understand new words, love use them!

i read many articles , essays language development birth 2 years old , , cant decide remarkable achievements in language birth 2 years old ??
