Can somebody please give me some tips on how to achieve A's and A* grades?

in year 9 in top set apart science , mathematics - in 2nd set both. i'm in year 10 , "greedy grades" , want , a* grades gcse's. few problems follow: lazy revision , doubt abilities. desperate these grades please honest , don't hesitant in answers! need motivation , help! answers appreciated! thank much!
