Why wont my internet explorer work?

have both internet explorer , firefox neither of work, everytime try use iternet explorer page pops plain white page url bar still there , everytime click on firefox mouse has lil loading icon nothing more. can fix this??? p.s. conected internet

have part time weekend job , in second year @ university. make £500 month. according pension funds, if pay 10% (£50) month, company double , money government means pay less £50. there different types of funds available, easiest being 'target fund' investment company moves money based on age. there index trackers , other equities/funds. can advise better long time investment.
