Is it normal for African Greys to be afraid of lots of things?

have bird , let me tell u afraid of alot silverware sounds cups chairs ground colorful clothes plenty of stufff u neeed teach ur bird these thiongs won't harm him objects show bird distance bring closer , closer when uir bird backs away bring object until right next ur bird bird touch let ur bird play u try playing obect touching petting ur bird willl interested noises tape recorder , record sound first play low go higher , higher until @ full sound if ur bird gets scared put lower make sure ur bird comforble , normal , ur bird might used without doing stuff

i have 3 year old african grey parrot, , afraid of lot of stuff. normal , grow out of being scared of everything?
