I think my student teacher has a crush on me! HELP!?

17-year old girl senior in high school. couple months ago got new student teacher in band. thought little creepy right get-go (he's little sketchy guy these shifty eyes, i'd have in late twenties or thirties). anyway, conducts , gives feedback on our playing. seems give me unusual amount of praise compared other students. few days after started teaching, complimented playing during class, kind of embarrassing, , after class came me , started gushing how am. now, struck me odd because know i'm not good. don't participate in festivals or practice instrument outside of school. don't intend continue band in college, , i'm fifth chair in section out of 7 players. told me need step game , more assertive in section, because 1 of talented players has ever heard. (ha!) make matters worse, in band room homeroom, in charge. every day pulls chair mine, interrupting conversation friends, , makes me him take attendance, thoug he's been here long enough know everyone's name. calls me "special helper." (ew). asks me how life , how i'm doing, , here's gets weirder... couple days ago, told me outfit stylish. wearing yoga pants school- aren't "stylish", revealing. please don't i'm asking dressing that...i don't wear yoga pants school often, lazy day. , last week, asked me if going school's winter ball. being polite person am, told him yes. proceeded ask going with, said no 1 had asked me , going friends. told me "that's shame! why nobody ask you?" didn't answer. following weekend, asked me if had fun @ ball , told him yes, , said, "it's know had fun friends @ least." me or stepping outside lines of teacher-student appropriate behavior? possible him attracted me in way or overthinking it? i'm creeped out him , avoided him day today because hate way stares @ me. can feel eyes on me whenever i'm playing in band, , whenever up, sure enough, eyes locked on mine. should situation or should wait out until student teaching session complete? help!
