Why has Yahoo YET AGAIN, WITHOUT WARNING, changed Yahoo Mail: the RESULT IS TERRIBLE!?

yahoo sent me daily urgent requests, 1 year, upgrade yahoo 'classic' email new 'beta' upgraded version. ~ year ago.
i've spent last year getting used 'upgrade', , grew it, 'smart' address autofill features.
appearance of upgraded version crisp , clear.
why has yahoo mail once again, without prior notice screwed our email service?
happened today, 12/12/12 in afternoon.
new version looks terrible, naked, default 'safe' microsoft start-up mode.
can't these people leave alone, after spending time , effort working out bugs?
