Are Scottish people basically the same thing as Germans?
wow!
o.k., time hit net...
celts, pronounced kelts, described both historians of ancient greece & ancient rome. originated in middle east. not 1 tribe, loose affiliation of tribes. see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/celts
scots & irish same people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/origins_of_...
if go far enough, before invasions of picts, angles, saxons, jutes (all of tribes loosely called vikings, normans --- vikings settled in normandy & brittany on coast of france), before invasions of rome, greece, phoenica, africa; long before invasions germany, france, netherlands, & spain...all peoples of of british isles descended proto-europeans; 80% of dna, remaining dna comes dozens of other groups.
saying scots same germans makes less sense saying germans russians. @ least there similarities in language. in russian, yes da. in german, ja.
see: http://www.archaeology.org/0107/abstract...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/germans
1 consideration in asking type of question must be: did ancient greeks & ancient romans have or tribe? clearly, germanni & scotti quite different, no relationship @ all.
finally, see celts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/celts
so, if question homosexuals, have definitive answer.
as understand germanic tribes migrated scotland celtic people did come from?
