Does failing this test matter?

today did maths test , found extremely difficult. missed out @ least 3 questions , including silly mistakes might of done going @ least 50-60%.
december assessment. i'm 14 , im in 3rd year in high school. test matter if got 50/60%? i'm scared affect future application.
