online schools home correspondence programs. considered enrolled in sponsoring school. free ones (like k12 , connections academy) run public schools , ones pay private schools. parents need enroll you. still accepting applications next semester, while others next school year @ point. use similar books similar assignments sponsoring school. not regular homeschooling. , parents have little control on study other picking classes. students find difficult due lack of direct adult supervision , many distractions.
