My school put me on financial aid probation. What should I do?

lot of tumultuous things happened year, including 2 cases child protective services, 3 family deaths , domestic violence case involving stepfather , younger sibling. suffice academics suffered , failed of classes in last 2 semesters. semester after completed financial aid , letter in mail saying didn't complete enough credits qualify financial aid.

owe $7k , won't let me register next semester until clear bill. should take out loan or show proof we've had serious family issues? i'm not sure @ point. advice appreciated.

have part time weekend job , in second year @ university. make £500 month. according pension funds, if pay 10% (£50) month, company double , money government means pay less £50. there different types of funds available, easiest being 'target fund' investment company moves money based on age. there index trackers , other equities/funds. can advise better long time investment.
