Why can't McDonald's keep a good burger very long (burger with tomato, ketchup, and mayo)?

bk has whopper, wendy's, carl's jr/hardees, jack in box, have similar style burgers. large patties, with, lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mayo (the ketchup/mayo mixture makes sauce btw). mcdonalds come type take off menu. why that?

sure there quarter pounder w/cheese, has no tomato, or lettuce? why can't make burger tomato , lettuce?

have part time weekend job , in second year @ university. make £500 month. according pension funds, if pay 10% (£50) month, company double , money government means pay less £50. there different types of funds available, easiest being 'target fund' investment company moves money based on age. there index trackers , other equities/funds. can advise better long time investment.
