What size of snowboard should I get?

want try snowboarding , not sure in board. want quality board not top of line either. i've snowboarded once , experience wasn't fun, due fact didn't have right gear (no waterproof clothing) , on , soaking wet, sore , freezing. anyway, i'm 5'7 , 175lbs. local resort doesn't snow, won't going in lot of deep powder. average snowfall 250 inches, , longest run 2 miles.
