How green do I need to be?

hello. environment important me i'm cautious not use unnecessary amounts of water, not leave lights on, etc. (though power isn't issue live, 100% of our electricity renewable generated dams/waterfalls). plan not drive car. right i'm 17 , still haven't gone in license... luckily live have around 200-300 bus routes in area (4 cities) , skytrain system (electric trains).

i'm wondering how green need be? if, example, had car drove enough use maybe 1 tank of gas per 2 months. low enough level of pollution it's not contributing gwarming? basically... if in world drove 25% as now, co2 emissions low enough wouldn't cause global warming?

sorry if phrased stuff horribly... it's 1:20am , i'm tired :p

have part time weekend job , in second year @ university. make £500 month. according pension funds, if pay 10% (£50) month, company double , money government means pay less £50. there different types of funds available, easiest being 'target fund' investment company moves money based on age. there index trackers , other equities/funds. can advise better long time investment.
