How did slavery start in the U.S.?

in 1600s, there ships went africa buy slaves, caribbean sell slaves , buy rum, molasses , sugar, american colonies sell goods , buy rice , tobacco, africa.

first big crops grown in american colonies rice , tobacco (cotton came later). both labor intensive. rice grown in coastal mud flats ground soft horses , wagons work had done humans. anyway idea of these ships had slaves left on after stopped in caribbean americans bought them, , slavery became more , more widespread in colonies on next century.
