My 99 chevy S-10 grinds when I shift to 2nd gear, how can I fix this and is this a major expense?

it's possible you're low on hydraulic fluid in clutch master cylinder; although if case, you'd have difficulty shifting first well. fill clutch master cylinder , bleed slave cylinder....if problem continues, begin shopping "first second gear shift collar"..about $60 on e-bay t5 in s-10.

the truck stick, has 122,000 miles, clutch close being worn out, , doesn't have difficulties shifting in other gear. in advance.
