Just saved this tiny bird form my cat, how can I increase its chance of survival?

if can vet or wildlife rehab center have better chance. coming contact cat saliva (w/o breaking skin) can deadly bird. saliva what's full of disgusting bacteria make animal sick after has flown off. dose of antibiotics can save bird in kind of situation. luck. http://birdrescue.org.nz/?page_id=23
