How To Stay Warm When Working Outdoors?

doing work experience @ oatridge college's stables , today absolutely freezing of time! wearing thermals tshirt, 3 pairs of socks, jodhpurs, fluffy lined jumper , waterproof jacket , still ridiculously cold. have go every day mext week (until friday) , due colder throughout week, how can stay warm?! please help, there lot of standing around involved don't have advantage of exercise of time!
