Will this cpu be compatible ?

hi there have lenovo thinkcentre , got intel pentium e2200 , socket lga 775. id upgrade cpu though , have intel core 2 quad q8200 , thats lga 775. not sockets im concerned fsb speeds of them. pentiums fsb speed 800mhz core 2 quads 1333mhz , cant find information motherboard. info found said motherboard support 1333mhz cpu supports 1066mhz cpu. question if put quad thinkcentre , boot cause damge rest of computer if isnt compatible, example if board did support 1066mhz cpu , switch on quad cause damage ? ( motherboard - lenovo g31t-lm )
