Has anyone had a problem getting served alcohol the day they turned 21?

21st birthday fell on sunday, not big party night, went bar on saturday night @ 11:45 pm , since official date of birth mere 15 minutes away guy checking i.d.s @ door let me in enthusiastic "happy birthday".
have never seen or heard of bar, restaurant, liquor store or other place refuse service or "get weird" because it's persons 21st birthday. weirdness i've ever seen due invalid i.d.


way, happy birthday!

simple question. turning 21 tomorrow, , friend said places weird serving day turn 21. asking if has had problem? if has been turned away, or treated suspicion when trying purchase alcohol on day turned 21?
