1992 gmc 1500 dash light, and tail light fuse blows after turning them on?

bought 1992 gmc 1500. when bought running lights didnt work. put in fuse , blew within second. replaced wire in front of truck, put in fuse, didnt work. went , followed wires, wires pretty bad did could. didnt work. bought thing called t. trailer lights, put in , put fuse in , worked! 2 weeks, blew again. before blew dash lights got dim , bam fuse blew. went 2 part stores. 1 said theres short, figured , 1 said un plug t bought , see if works. did , worked 2 days, today went turn lights on , dash got dim , blew again. ive tried everything! got new bulbs, got new headlight switch. bought new circuit boards tail lights, , still nothing. question going on? , know theres short, if there why work days , quit? , mean out of no quit. , thats it. idk else do. ideas? ill take consideration.
