Will They Change The Law On Cycling on The Pavement ?

have moved 1 town in uk town close birmingham. in first town cyclist used pavement , fine.

in new town if cycle on pavement either police or members of public make cycle on road.

both pedestrian, cyclist , car driver cannot understand why.

if driving difficult understand route cyclist planning take , have seen many accidents caused drivers overtaking cyclist on roads narrow.

if cyclist on pavement safer, pedestrians , cyclist can communicate 1 , moving , similar speeds, worse can happen cyclist clips arm of pedestrian.

cycle on road , if car doesn't hit difference in speed , weight make fall bike , road surface lot more dangerous of pavement. easy swerve on bike , cars slow down when passing you.

have known several people either injured of killed while cycling on road (including policeman less week before had told me off cycling on pavement). why there sill law (which break daily) says should not cycle on pavements ?
