Optometrists? What lens prescription should i wear?

if want wear contact lenses come in paired prescriptions (they both have same), , right eye wear -3.00 , left -2.25, prescription should wear balance 2 out? have bit of astigmatism wear regular lenses b/c seem fit me better , that's why optometrist gave me prescription higher eyes (so they're less -3.00 & -2.25). lenses want buy not toric lenses :]
please don't go ask optometrist, eyes checked blah blah blah cuz know prescription already.... , stuff shouldn't wear lenses off both eyes blah blah... don't bother answering ^^
