depends on ask. :)
if you're living in nice, hooked mini mansion in long island i'm sure feel on top of world.. can living in project apartment in southbronx , hate every bit of it. either way, ny ny. have lived here life forward time can either move upstate ny or out of here. fast paced , hectic if have commute (unless have easy commute don't), expensive diverse, rich in culture , there never dull moment.
