Why do Americans insist on using their guns on someone who breaks into their homes?

disturbing thought americans think use objects of violence known guns on innocent individual decides break homes. why that? person may have been confused or had intentions food out of kitchen. person breaks home (which may or may not doing out of necessity) deserve shot? think poor men lonely , break woman’s home ask unconditional lovemaking during cold lonely night, express through breaking home, why not them instead of shooting them?

if think it's right shoot kill because they're trying steal possessions, must think possessions worth more burglar's life, ridiculous , you're way worse burglar. mean laws in uk state have able read burglars mind after breaks home , know if wanted steal or if wanted rape or kill. mean you, victim, should locked forever if kill person broke home 'might' have wanted burgle, chances of them wanting kill or rape low logical 'take chance life' , put gun away , defend against individual karate or stick! way don't feel guilty if able defend in such manner , scare him away.
