Place these elements in order of decreasing atomic size:bismuth,bromine,neon,cesi...

question deals periodic trends. allow me simplify. trend atomic radius is:

-increases going down group
-decreases going left right across period

in order of decreasing atomic size means biggest atom first, followed each successive smaller atom. looking for: biggest radius---> smallest radius. use periodic table: atom closest bottom left of table biggest. cesium. need apply knowledge above figure out barium smaller cesium b/c right of it. , bromine smaller arsenic b/c right of it. neon smallest because closer top right other atom in list, expected b/c of it's noble gas configuration.

***biggest ----> smallest radius: cesium, barium, bismuth, arsenic, bromine, neon.

edit: every other answer wrong far. arsenic has bigger radius bromine, according periodic trend.

place following elements in order of decreasing atomic size: bismuth, bromine, neon, cesium, barium, , arsenic?
