Should I retake the SAT?

assuming there either other school shot at, or scholarship in play. if considering retaking 'feel better' not worth it.

so, if need higher score... should never retake sat unless have done absolutely guarantee score gain. not assume being 2nd try or preparing on own automatically raise score.

try taking full practice test, can @ sat website linked below. when done, subtract 100 score (practice less stressful real one. if within 50 of want, consistent self-prep can there. within 100, selfprep , group class or 'support' tutor (one helps when stuck) enough. gain of on 100, need in person 1 on 1 tutor.

i received 1840 on sat. did little preparation, , know can better. score have sufficient college plan on attending, still feel sick every time see it. worth money retake test if make me feel better?
