How hot can water get?

yes, there limit. if volume fixed , pressure constant can heat water 374c (705f) @ 22.064mpa (3200 psi). point called "critical point" , temperature , pressure @ difference (viscosity, density, etc.) between water liquid , water vapour no longer exist. @ point have referred supercritical fluid.

say had medal container , pumped water 100psi , heated it. heat whatever temp. wanted to? note container sealed nothing evaporate. end steam? heat whatever temp if so?
