Plastic surgery in Canada?

nothing prevents private practitioners operating on patients. suspect many canadian plastic surgeons not wish operate on americans because:

a) extremely easy americans refuse pay , expensive , time consuming have collect money them in united states,

b) don't wish risk lawsuits united states doesn't have loser-pay system, caps on damages, , requires lawyers , travel defend yourself.

c) insurance company doesn't cover lawsuits non-canadians or insanely expensive cover americans.

d) don't need business.

e) don't operating on people don't have general health insurance in canada. if have problem anesthesia, bleeding, heart attack, alergic reaction, etc. , need rushed hospital... uninsured americans run tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills. travel medical won't cover since caused elective procedure. lawsuits surely follow.

f) don't enough americans worry about. if americans willing travel cosmetic procedures... might go india, china, or other countries medical tourism , procedures @ fraction of cost. canadian doctors won't less expensive doctors.
