i'm not sure understand. saying alcoholic upset if other guests preference, since can't have wants @ all, he'll feel better if else has settle else?

i'm recovering alcoholic. aware others can drink , enjoy drinks, , don't begrudge them of that, because can't partake. give other guests whatever drink prefer, , have sort of non-alcoholic option him (water, soda, juice, whatever). doubt he'd obnoxious it, if is, wouldn't invite him more dinner parties.

i serving pork , know of dinner guests enjoy red wine. thinking maybe alcoholic less obnoxious if white wine. don't know do. help.
