How do i fix my coby 42inch tv it is only showing a blue screen and the sound?

first, check input settings of television. dark or blue screen when first turning on television it´s caused because of selected input corresponds turned-off or unplugged input, such gaming system or dvd player. if problem persists, try reconnecting cables on or sides of television. it's possible 1 of cables has gone dead. if have access other cables, try swapping these in , see if problem persists. maybe turning television off , unplugging extended period of time, 24 hours, can fix blue-screen issue.
