each ship , plane registered in country. in case, child have following options:

1)the nationality of vessel/airplane born in.
2)the nationalities of parents.

same applies if pregnant woman gives birth in embassy.

*edit* interesting question , mental exercise! thinking that, in unlikely event child born in unregistered (illegal) vessel in international waters, child have nationality of parents and/or subject of international law, due declaration of human rights (everybody has right of nationality). so, in theory, after huge massive litigation child (without parents) nationality wants or more appropriate. unlikely theoretically possible. has been seen after second world war, when countries "disappeared" adults left without nationality in asia. adopted nationality of country spoke language , felt more identified with.

ok,let in cruise or plane , theres woman pregnant.
in international waters , woman has child!!
children nationality!?
