How to get phone's ringer on again?

have uniden dect 6.0. i've had 1 year. says ringer off - never did turn off. live alone can't blame else. don't know how ringer on. says it's off know it's not broker , when play it, can make ring doesn't ring when calls. i've tried "select" button reason, doesn't reset phone think should. suggestions?
