start doing can live. take acting classes. audition school plays, community theater, local productions, whatever can. competing in acting divisions of speech/drama forensic competitions. read plays , scripts, keeping eye out characters , monologues love , want develop. read other things well, novels, short stories, poems - understanding language , storytelling actor. play improv games friends, make own home movies, put on own productions - have fun learning , growing actor.

when you're older, can acting schools/programs - quality ones have audition into. don't have go school professional actors, it's helpful. not improve acting skills, schools prepare industry. , they're way start build contacts in industry can network , find out opportunities.

now, professional acting business. companies invest lot of money in productions , trust investment trained , experienced professionals. jobs cast through talent agents, not open auditions. talent agents paid paid percentage of clients make. (never pay agent front.) since paid if clients paid, agents picky take on clients. can't go out , hire talent agent. have have enough training , experience convince agent can book jobs.
